Today was a day for laughing. Seriously. My mouth still hurts from laughing too much at long john's after the malay camp thingy. Haha. Ok, should start from the beginning here or nobody would understand what i'm talking about unless you were there yourself.

First highlight of the day: the malay bengkel by the Eduhive people on finding your own identity and realizing your own potential. The bengkel was just so full of fun and laughter that we really laughed like we never had. But it was also able to drive home the purpose of the bengkel, the need for us to realise our potential and to think out of our comfort zones and about what we can do for other less fortunate people instead. It really made us open up our eyes, all the talks and the videos about the Project Zipper and the one about building the mosque in Cambodia. Really made us see the difference in our lives and theirs and how we havent done anything actually meaningful all this while since we were born.

Next highlight: the games that we carried out for them. Haha..my station was quite boring actually since all they had to do was to unscramble the words into their correct phrasing but it was quite taxing due to the super big words that were present (i dint even know what they meant!). But what was most fun about that was the dikir session after that. Those of us who were i/c's practised some dikir moves (our moves) while those in the four groups made their own dikir song out of the clues that they got. They sort of jumbled everything up (the arrangement of the clues were totally wrong and they turned the juara into a karut ah..haha!) but what they made was sooo funny and i knew they had fun making it so everything went well. (Although i felt a bit melancholy after that as i really missed dikir at that instance after remembering the dikir moves. Like i told Adam, better to not know something then to know it but not being able to do it. It just eats you up inside. ) The guys and four of the girls went to play captain's ball after that. Haha..i was too tired and hungry to play with them so i just watched instead.

Best part of the day: the laughter and the jokes and the stupid quizzes that we tested each other with at Long John's Silver, CS. My cheeks and stomach reallyX2 hurt from all the laughing that we did then. I think we really disturbed the peacefulness of that place..kept getting people staring at us like we're some crazy people escaped from IMH. But really, we couldn't help ourselves. We were just having too much fun. What with all the paper game, fuzzy wuzzy, duck or chicken and the number game that we played, anyone would have reacted the same way as us. Adam and Irda took a really long time to figure everything out (Adam especially for fuzzy wuzzy, Irda for the number game and Hudy for the paper game) but they managed to get everything in the end afetr getting sooo many large clues from the rest of us. It really was amazing, our time there. Just indescribable.

Oh, and i met kak salmah, jirah and Liza's mum at LJ. That was cool, meeting them all at one place.

It really was a lot of fun today. I think the whole thing was a success ( although cikgu was the only marring the perfectness of the day with her moodyness and all that). I just hope everyday can be this way or that we will have more days like this. I really hope that will happen. Then, perhaps MCS wouldn't be so stagnant anymore.
